Tianjin, Sept. 3 -- Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday said Islamabad respects Moscow's relations with New Delhi, as he met Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in China's Tianjin.

The meeting comes just weeks after Pakistan's Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir visited the United States, where he held talks with former President Donald Trump.

Munir's Washington trip followed India's 'Operation Sindoor', in which the armed forces struck multiple terror hideouts and air defence sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
