Mumbai, Jan. 28 -- Yash Raj Films' (YRF) 'Pathaan', directed by Siddharth Anand, has recorded the biggest opening weekend in the history of Hindi cinema, which it has set on day three of its release, by collecting an incredible Rs 313 crore gross worldwide.

With this feat, Pathaan also created two new records - the fastest Hindi film to breach Rs 300 crore worldwide barrier and secondly, becoming the first Hindi film to collect over Rs 300 crore gross on its opening weekend.

On day three, a normal working day, Pathaan collected Rs 38 crore net in Hindi format, while dubbed formats earned Rs 1.25 crore net.

The total India collection on day two was Rs 39.25 crore net (47 crore gross).
