Mumbai/IBNS, Sept. 23 -- Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Tuesday received his maiden National Award in his long career spanning over 30 years from President Droupadi Murmu.
The 71st National Film Award ceremony was held at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
Khan won the award in the Best Actor category for his role in Jawan, a socio-political commentary.
The 59-year-old actor won it jointly with Vikrant Massey, who won it for 12th Fail.
In 12th Fail, Vikrant played the role of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who became an IPS officer battling poverty.
