Sameer Wankhede to head Aryan Khan case unless 'substantial evidence found against him'
New Delhi, Oct. 27 -- Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) zonal officer Sameer Wankhede was questioned on Wednesday in connection with the bribery allegations against him, which is being probed internally by the anti-drugs agency.
The officer, in-charge investigating the cruise ship raids case involving Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan,will continue leading the probe unless substantial information is found against him, media reports said.
The agency had ordered a vigilance inquiry into the bribery allegations made against the officer by a man named as a witness in the case.
Malik had claimed Wankhede "used to make illegal phone intercepts of well known people through two private persons and blackmailed innocent persons".
