Mumbai/IBNS, Jan. 29 -- The Mumbai Police have clarified that they have the right accused in their custody in connection with the Said Ali Khan attack case amid reports of fingerprints mismatch.

"Yes, we have the right man in custody," the Mumbai Police said on Tuesday while answering questions from the media.

"A lot of technical, physical and oral evidence has been found against the accused," said the senior police official, dismissing media reports that appear to suggest that the wrong man has been arrested.

The actor received a wound close to the spinal cord. Doctors had to perform surgery on him to remove the knife which was 2.5 inches deep into the wound.
