Kolkata/IBNS, Feb. 7 -- Romario Shepherd created history at the Eden Gardens on Saturday, becoming the first West Indies bowler to claim a hat-trick in the T20 World Cup during his side's clash against Scotland.
Shepherd, the ninth bowler overall to achieve the feat in T20 World Cup history, finished with a sensational five-wicket haul that included four wickets in a single over.
His hat-trick marked the 10th in T20 World Cup history, achieved by nine different bowlers.
Shepherd's devastating spell, combined with Shimron Hetmyer's breezy 64, powered West Indies to a convincing 35-run victory over Scotland in the second match of the ongoing T20 World Cup.
