Mumbai, Nov. 28 -- After Airtel and Vodafone, Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, or Jio, has increased its prepaid tariff effective from December 1, 2021.

Jio today announced a 20 percent increase across all prepaid plans.

The company said its new prepaid tariff plans are in line with "commitment to further strengthen a sustainable telecom industry".

On November 22, Airtel said that prepaid tariff rates will be hiked by up to 25 percent with effect from November 26 "to provide a reasonable return on capital for a financially healthy business model".
