Kolkata/IBNS, June 27 -- The first poster from Nandita Roy-Shiboprosad Mukherjee's upcoming Bengali film Raktabeej 2 was unveiled by the makers on Friday.

The sequel, which will also feature veteran actor Victor Banerjee, was officially announced in January with a motion poster.

In Raktabeej, which had a run in the box office for over 100 years, Victor Banerjee's character was modelled after former Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, Abir had played a probe officer and Mimi a cop.

Actor Ankush Hazra, who had featured in an item dance and also played a surprise and crucial cameo in the first installment, will also feature in Raktabeej 2.

The second installment is scheduled for a release in this year's Durga Puja.
