India, May 16 -- The Indian Premier League (IPL) roars back to life after a brief suspension, with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) set to host Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in a potentially season-defining clash at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday.

For RCB, the equation is simple: win, and a playoff spot is virtually sealed. Even if they lose, their campaign won't be derailed, but the prospect of a top-two finish-which offers a vital second chance in the knockouts-could slip away. KKR, however, face a far steeper challenge.
