India, Oct. 21 -- Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi visited the historic Ghantewala sweet shop in Old Delhi, one of the capital's oldest confectioneries, where he tried his hand at making traditional sweets on the occasion of Diwali.
Speaking to ANI, shop owner Sushant Jain said Rahul Gandhi prepared imarti and besan laddus during his visit and recalled that the late Rajiv Gandhi had also been fond of imarti.
"His father, the late Rajiv ji, really liked imarti, so I told him to try that. He also likes besan laddus, so he made those as well," he added.
