Dharamsala/IBNS, May 8 -- The 58th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals was called off in Dharamsala on Thursday after Pakistan attacked India in Jammu, Punjab and Rajasthan amid the rising tension between the two nations.

Later, the crowd in the stadium were asked to leave.

The players and match officials were also rushed out of the stadium.

A special train has also been called to rush the players and match officials from Dharamsala to New Delhi.

At the time when the match was called off, Punjab were batting solid at 122-1.

"We are closely monitoring the situation and will make further decisions accordingly," he added.
