India, March 23 -- A self-styled pastor from Punjab, who was identified as Bajinder Singh, has triggered a controversy after a video went viral where he was seen assaulting a woman.

In the video, Singh could be seen throwing a pile of paper at a woman, who was also seen sitting with a baby, in his office.

Seconds later, the woman could be seen walking up to him when it seemed he pushed her.

The situation seemed to escalate when the duo could be seen engaged in a heated argument while others in the room tried to pacify them.

However, Singh has not issued any statement about the video so far.

In the video, he was also seen repeatedly slapping a man.
