India, July 29 -- An engineer in Pune committed suicide by jumping out of his office building after leaving a meeting mideway, media reports said.

The man, identified as Piyush Ashok Kawade, was working at Atlas Copco (India) Pvt in Pune's Hinjewadi IT hub since July last.

The 23-year-old left a suicide note for his family, the police said.

"The investigation is ongoing, but still what he has written in the suicide note will be thoroughly investigated. Relatives, etc. are coming," he said.

A case of accidental death has been registered.
