India, Oct. 4 -- The Pakistani government has signed an agreement with the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC), bringing an end to days of violent unrest in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), according to media reports.

The recent unrest in the area left at least 10 people dead and scores of others injured.

Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif said "all issues have been resolved amicably".

The agreement was signed after two rounds of talks between the high-level government delegation and the JAAC in as many days.

The region witnessed violent unrest after talks between JAAC, the PoK government and federal ministers broke down last week over the issue of elite privileges and reserved seats for refugees.
