New Delhi/IBNS, Feb. 19 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday stressed the importance of maintaining human control over Artificial Intelligence (AI), asserting that technology must serve humanity and not the other way round, while addressing the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi.

Amid growing concerns over AI replacing jobs and disrupting the workforce, the Prime Minister said AI must act as a tool of "inclusion and empowerment".

Highlighting the transformative potential of technology, Modi said AI would drive innovation, entrepreneurship, and the creation of new industries.
