Patna/IBNS, Sept. 26 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday transferred Rs. 10,000 to each of 75 lakh women under a new scheme in poll-bound Bihar.

The PM launched the Rs. 7,500-crore Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana as a part of the NDA government's new initiative to woo the women voters.

Modi launched the scheme virtually from Delhi and the event was joined by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, his deputy Samrat Chaudhary and other ministers from the state capital Patna.
