Tianjin, Aug. 31 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen in the front row alongside Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin as world leaders posed for the customary family photograph at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Tianjin, China, on Sunday.

The host, Xi Jinping, stood at the centre of the photo, accompanied by his wife Peng Liyuan to the left and Putin to the right.

This was the first time Modi and Sharif were seen together on the same platform since India's Operation Sindoor precision strikes.

Ahead of the summit, Xi and his wife hosted a banquet in the port city to welcome international delegates for the 25th edition of the annual gathering.
