India, Feb. 23 -- Indian PM Narendra Modi on Sunday shared his idea where he urged people to spend a day as a 'scientist' and visit centres related to science in a bid to enhance curiosity in the sector.

Addressing the 19th edition of monthly radio broadcast "Mann ki Baat", Modi said: "Friends, in a few days to come, we are going to celebrate 'National Science Day'."

"The interest and passion of our children and youth in science matters a lot. I have an idea for this, which you can call 'One Day as a Scientist'," he said.

"You should try to spend one day as a scientist," he said.
