New Delhi/IBNS, Dec. 15 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi has begun a three-nation diplomatic tour to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, and the Sultanate of Oman - countries with which India shares both historical ties and robust contemporary relations.

Modi's visit to Jordan, on the invitation of King Abdullah II, commemorates 75 years of diplomatic relations between India and Jordan.

During his stay in Amman, the Prime Minister will hold detailed discussions with King Abdullah II, Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, and Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II. He will also engage with the Indian community in Jordan, acknowledging their contributions to India-Jordan relations.
