India, June 18 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Croatia on Wednesday for the first-ever visit by an Indian premier, during which he will hold talks with the country's top leadership to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
In a special gesture, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic received PM Modi at the airport.
"A short while ago, landed in Zagreb, Croatia. This is a special visit, the first ever by an Indian Prime Minister to a valued European partner. I am grateful to Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic for the special gesture of welcoming me at the airport," PM Modi posted on X.
