Tianjin, Aug. 30 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday held a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to review the latest situation in Kyiv's conflict with Moscow, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said.
During the call, Zelenskyy briefed Modi about his recent discussions with US President Donald Trump in Washington.
Modi reiterated India's consistent stance that peaceful negotiations were essential for ending the conflict and reaffirmed support for efforts to restore stability.
Zelenskyy also shared a positive assessment of the discussion, describing it as "a productive and important conversation."
