India, July 18 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated multiple development projects in Durgapur, which he described as a major hub of both steel production and skilled labour.
Highlighting India's growing global recognition, PM Modi said infrastructure is central to the vision of a transformed and self-reliant India.
He noted that the railways have seen unprecedented upgrades in the region, with the introduction of multiple Vande Bharat trains, modern railway stations, overbridges and rail network expansion.
