India, April 22 -- Indian PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday arrived in Saudi Arabia and said he expects the visit will strengthen the friendship between the two countries.
As a special gesture, Modi's aircraft was escorted by F15 fighter jets of the Royal Saudi Air Force in Saudi airspace.
"Landed in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This visit will strengthen the friendship between India and Saudi Arabia. Eager to take part in the various programmes today and tomorrow," Modi posted on X.
