New Delhi, Oct. 22 -- Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will embark on an official visit to Berlin, Germany, on October 23 for a series of high-level engagements aimed at deepening economic and business cooperation between the two countries.

Goyal will be a keynote speaker at the third Berlin Global Dialogue (BGD), an annual summit that convenes global leaders from business, government, and academia to discuss key trends shaping the world economy.

He will also chair a roundtable with CEOs of Germany's Mittelstand companies and meet representatives from the Federation of German Industries (BDI) and the Asia-Pacific Association of German Business (APA).
