India, Nov. 2 -- At least 15 people died, and two others were injured when a tempo traveller hit a parked truck on the Bharat Mala Expressway in Rajasthan's Jodhpur on Sunday.
The temple is located around 220 km away from Jodhpur.
The victims were residents of the Phalodi area in Jodhpur.
The injured were initially taken to a nearby hospital and later shifted to Jodhpur via a green corridor for advanced treatment, reported India Today.
Police and local residents carried out the rescue operation.
"District administration officials have been instructed to ensure proper treatment for all the injured. I pray to God to grant peace to the departed souls and speedy recovery to the injured," Sharma said.
