India, Sept. 15 -- The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suspended its Director of International Cricket, Usman Wahla, following the Asia Cup 2025 handshake controversy during the India-Pakistan clash.
According to ASports, Wahla was removed for failing to lodge a timely formal complaint against match referee Andy Pycroft, who allegedly instructed Pakistan skipper Salman Ali Agha not to shake hands with India's captain Suryakumar Yadav after the match.
PCB chairman , in a post on X, confirmed that the complaint had also been escalated to the ICC, stressing that Pycroft's conduct "violated both the ICC Code of Conduct and MCC Laws."
