India, July 12 -- Indian and Greek navies held a joint passing exercise (PASSEX) off the coast of Mumbai, an engagement that provided an opportunity to exchange Best Practices and enhance bilateral maritime interoperability.
The details of the exercise were shared by the Indian Navy spokesperson and the Western Naval Command on their X handles.
The exercise was held on Thursday.
Sharing details, Western Naval Command wrote on X: "#INSTarkash @indiannavyparticipated in a #PASSEX with #HSPsara @NavyGR on 10 Jul 25. The exercise included validating communication procedures, tactical manoeuvres, replenishment-at-sea approaches, surface firing and cross deck landings, culminating in a steampast."
