India, Oct. 17 -- The Pakistani security forces on Friday killed 10 terrorists during intelligence-based operations in Datta Khel area of North Waziristan, media reports said.
Sources told Dunya News that credible intelligence had indicated the presence and movement of militants in the suburban regions, prompting forces to conduct surveillance of the area for the past eight to ten days.
The forces attacked the terrorists after confirming their presence in the area.
Among the six persons who died in the operation was a key commander of the banned Khawarij group, identified as Mehmood alias Muhammad, reported Dunya News.
