India, Feb. 24 -- Pakistan's Intelligence Bureau has issued a high alert about several terrorist outfits, including Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP), and potential plans to kidnap foreigners attending the ongoing Champions Trophy in the country for ransom.
Sources told CNN-News18 that an alert has been issued against several terror outfits, including Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP), ISIS and other Balochistan-based groups.
Following the alert issued by the Bureau, Pakistani security forces have deployed high-level protection teams to ensure the safety of players and other supporting staff members.
