India, Sept. 29 -- At least two people died, and 22 others were injured, after thousands of people demonstrated against the Pakistan government in the Muzaffarabad area in PoK, media reports said on Monday.
Several videos of the violence have now gone viral on the internet.
The demonstration in the region is spearheaded by a group named Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JKJAAC) that vowed to shut down the region to protest what it calls the decades-long denial of fundamental rights.
According to Dawn News, a large convoy of vehicles carrying armed police and paramilitary personnel conducted flag marches in almost all districts of the region on Saturday.
