India, March 18 -- At least five people, including children, were injured after grenades were lobbed at the house of a senior police official located in Pakistan's Balochistan region on Monday, media reports said.

The house reportedly belonged to Hub City Station House Officer (SHO) Qadir Sheikh.

Speaking to Dawn.com, Khuzdar Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Javed Zehri said unknown assailants threw a hand grenade on a house in the Kaushik area of Khuzdar City

The cause of the attack is still not known.

It is currently being investigated.
