India, July 15 -- A report published by the Balochistan Home Department has shown that the volatile Pakistani region is witnessing a 45 percent increase in terrorist incidents and a 100 percent increase in targeted killings of local residents in the first six months of the year.

The report states that 257 people, including 133 personnel, were killed in 501 terrorist incidents in Balochistan during the first 6 months of this year, while 492 people, including 238 personnel, were injured.

The reports said 36 of the cases were reported from Balochistan.
