Gurugram, May 1 -- Himanshi Narwal, wife of Indian Navy Lieutenant Vinay Narwal who was among those killed in the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, has urged people to remain united and not direct their grief toward Muslims or Kashmiris.
Her message came as the nation reacted with deep sorrow and anger over the attack that killed 26, including her husband.
The couple was on their honeymoon in Pahalgam when gunmen opened fire at Baisaran meadow, making it one of the worst civilian attacks in recent years.
Overwhelmed by emotion, Himanshi hugged and saluted her husband's coffin, saying, "Let his soul rest in peace. He lived a good life. He made us really proud, and we should continue to uphold that pride in every way."
