New Delhi/IBNS, April 1 -- The INDIA bloc has once again come together and unanimously decided to vote against the Waqf Amendment Bill in Parliament on Wednesday.

The decision was taken at a meeting on Tuesday evening, which was attended by all Opposition parties.

"Floor leaders of the INDIA Alliance held a meeting today in the Parliament which was attended by Congress President and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Shri@kharge and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Shri @RahulGandhi. During this meeting, the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, was discussed at length with the floor leaders of both the Houses," the Congress posted on X.

Roughly eight hours have been allotted for the debate, union minister Kiren Rijiju has said.
