India, May 11 -- The Indian Navy on Sunday said it was ready and fully capable of striking targets at sea and on land, including the Pakistani city of Karachi, during the recent escalation of tension between the warring neighbours.
He said the forward deployment of the Indian Navy compelled Pakistani naval and air units to be in a defensive posture, mostly inside harbours or very close to the coast.
"We monitored it continuously," he said.
