India, April 8 -- Academician and author Prof Dr Mahul Brahma was conferred Doctor of Literature (D.Litt) by University of Central America, Bolivia.

The honorary title was conferred by the university for his contributions towards higher education and in literary space with his writings on academia and luxury, according to a media release.

Prof Brahma is a Fellow of the Commercial Education Society of Australia (FCES) and a life member of the Indo British Scholars' Association (IBSA). He is a Visiting Research Fellow with Bath Business School, Bath Spa University in the UK.
