New Delhi, April 27 -- National Security Adviser Ajit Doval's participation in the BRICS NSA meeting in Brazil on April 30 remains uncertain due to heightened tensions with Pakistan following the Pahalgam terror attack that left 26 people dead, mostly tourists.

The Pahalgam attack on April 22 was the deadliest in the Valley since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019.

However, sources said a final decision regarding Jaishankar's travel has not yet been made.

If he does not attend, India's BRICS Sherpa could represent the country.
