Mumbai/IBNS, Jan. 22 -- Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has opened up about the diet and fitness routine that keeps him fit and energetic in his 40s, stressing the importance of consistency over intensity.

Ahead of the release of his upcoming film O'Romeo, Shahid said he follows a balanced and sustainable approach to fitness rather than extreme workouts.

Speaking to The Indian Express, the 44-year-old actor said his routine focuses on staying agile and injury-free.
