India, Aug. 6 -- Nine soldiers are missing after an army camp in Uttarakhand's Harshil was hit by flash floods on Tuesday, media reports said.

A cloud burst and resultant massive landslide in Uttarkashi's Dharali village in Uttarakhand on Tuesday left at least four people dead and 50 others missing, media reports said.

The natural calamity struck Dharali Village around 1.45 pm, which is located 4 km from the Indian Army camp at Harsil.

The road connectivity to Gangotri Dham, a sacred Hindu destination, was cut off due to the landslide.
