India, Aug. 23 -- At least five tourists died after a bus carrying 54 passengers, including Indians, rolled and crashed on a New York state highway on Friday, media reports said.
New York State Police said the incident occurred on Interstate 90, eastbound between exits 48A and 49 in the town of Pembroke, Genesee County.
The tourist bus was returning to New York from Niagara Falls.
"The bus exited the roadway into the median then abruptly corrected causing the bus to overturn and roll off the I-90 on the south embankment," New York State Police said in a statement.
