New Delhi, Sept. 6 -- The Supreme Court Monday ruled against the postponing of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) or NEET UG 2021 to a date post the declaration of the CBSE examination results, media reports said.

Rejecting a writ petition seeking the postponement of the entrance test, the top court stated the NEET UG 21 will be held on the scheduled date, Sept 12.

The National Testing Agency had earlier clarified that the NEET would be held irrespective of the fact that the CBSE examination results would not be declared by then.
