Chennai/IBNS, Sept. 10 -- In a fresh trouble for Tamil superstar Nayanthara, the Madras High Court on Wednesday asked the makers of her Netflix documentary to respond to a plea filed against the usage of clips from blockbuster film Chandramukhi, media reports said.

The documentary, which was released on November 18, 2024 coinciding the actress' 40th birthday, was developed in association with Rowdy Pictures, the production banner co-founded and run by Nayanthara and her husband Vignesh Shivan.

Nayanthara played a key role in Chandramukhi, which was released in 2005.
