Lucknow/IBNS, Jan. 19 -- In a public fallout within the family of late Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, his younger son Prateek Yadav has announced that he intends to divorce his wife Aparna Yadav, describing her as a "selfish woman" and "a bad soul."

In an Instagram post, Prateek claimed he is suffering from a "bad mental health condition," to which Aparna-who is active in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-was allegedly indifferent. He wrote:

Prateek is the younger son of Mulayam Singh Yadav from his second wife Sadhana Gupta, and the step-brother of Akhilesh Yadav, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and current Samajwadi Party supremo.
