India, Feb. 18 -- PM Narendra Modi held talks with President Pedro Sanchez in New Delhi on Wednesday, discussing ways to further strengthen India-Spain ties across key sectors, including defence, security, technology and innovation.
The two leaders also highlighted their joint decision to mark 2026 as the India-Spain Year of Culture, Tourism and AI, an initiative aimed at deepening people-to-people connections and fostering collaboration in emerging technologies and cultural exchange.
Following the meeting, Modi said on X that he had a "productive discussion" with Sanchez, emphasising efforts to expand cooperation in defence, security and technology.
