India, Jan. 10 -- The Pakistan Navy on Saturday test-fired a surface-to-air missile during a military exercise in the north Arabian Sea, according to local media reports quoting the armed forces' media wing.

ISPR said the missile successfully engaged and neutralised an aerial target, underscoring the Navy's robust air defence capability.

The exercise also involved the successful engagement of surface targets using loitering munitions, it added.

In addition, ISPR said open-sea trials of an unmanned surface vessel were conducted successfully, describing the tests as a significant step forward in autonomous naval technology. The trials validated the platform's ability to combine high-speed performance with mission-critical durability.
