Washington, Aug. 19 -- US State Secretary Mike Pompeo is all set to join the UN Security Council meeting on the Middle East and meet UN chief Antonio Guterres on Aug 20, officials said.

Speaking on his upcoming meet with UN chief, Pompeo tweeted: "I look forward to visiting New York for the@UNSecurity Council debate on peace and security in the Middle East. I will be discussing ways the U.S. and UN can work together to forge solutions and combat global challenges with Secretary-General @antonioguterres."
