India, June 22 -- The Indian Embassy in Iran has announced it will try to evacuate nationals from Sri Lanka and Nepal from conflict-hit Iran.
The Embassy said the action will be performed after the governments of the two neighbouring nations requested for evacuation of their nationals.
In an X post, the Indian Embassy in Iran said: "On request of the Governments of Nepal and Sri Lanka, the Indian Embassy's evacuation efforts in Iran will also cover Citizens of Nepal and Sri Lanka."
The evacuation was done as part of Operation Sindhu.
