Kolkata/IBNS, Dec. 15 -- Five individuals have been arrested in connection with the vandalism at Salt Lake Stadium during the G.O.A.T. India Tour 2025 featuring Argentine football icon Lionel Messi, The Telegraph reported.

The accused were identified from video footage of the mayhem, which erupted after spectators were denied a view of Messi, who was surrounded by influential figures, including politicians.
