India, Dec. 13 -- The main organiser of the mega event, involving Argentine World Cup hero Lionel Messi, was arrested hours after chaos broke out at the iconic Salt Lake Stadium on Saturday, forcing the footballer to leave the venue early.

According to reports, police detained Satadru Dutta at the airport after the incident at the stadium, where an angry crowd damaged property amid allegations of mismanagement.

"We are investigating the case and appropriate action will be taken. We will ensure that the fans are compensated. The organisers will have to refund the money and give that assurance in writing.
