India, Feb. 13 -- The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 has approved Sam Topping as a replacement for skipper Paul Stirling in the Ireland squad.

Topping was named as a replacement when Stirling was ruled out after sustaining knee ligament damage while fielding during Ireland's match against Australia on 11 February.

The replacement of a player requires the approval of the Event Technical Committee before the replacement player can be officially added to the squad.
